BY TRAIN From Bristol Temple Meads station (10 mins). Walk down the concourse ramp at the front of the station. Cross over the round and head right towards St Mary’s Church. Carry straight over at the roundabout onto Redcliffe Way and over the water. Turn right after the bridge into Welsh Back (cobbled street) the club is 50 yards on your right hand side. BY CAR The club has no dedicated parking of its own. The nearest car park is opposite St Mary’s Church. Parking restriction around the club are subject to change but at present are as follows. Monday to Friday 6pm to 8am it is FREE on the yellow lines. Saturday it is £1.50 all day on Queen Square, and its FREE outside the club on Sundays and Bank Holidays. At all other times meters are in operation. BY CYCLE The club has its own bike cage for a limited number of bikes. (subject to availability). There are however bike rails opposite the club next to Avenue Café. Motorcycles can be parked along side the club as long as not obstructing the pedestrian walkway. BY FOOT The club is located in the centre of Bristol on the historic floating harbour. It is just off Queen Square on a road called Welsh Back. It is near the Old Vic theatre and next door to the Spyglass restaurant and Apple bar. BY FERRY Welsh Back can be reached by the harbour ferry service. There is a landing stage on Welsh back which is on the Centre to Temple meads ferry route. Fares vary and it is advisable to check the current timetable for operations. |
